Tiscali top choice
After searching around using various sites, I soon found that Tiscali offered the best deal available in my area. I live in a remote countryside area in Northern Ireland and am quite a bit away from the exchange. I never had broadband before, but made the decision that whatever company would be hosting the broadband would also take care of the phone calls and line rental as well. I have to say I was apprehensive about leaving BT after having been with them for years. It is this fear factor of the unknown which they rely on, in my opinion. A few months down the line I am very pleased that I chose Tiscali. I now get line rental, all local & national calls and unlimited broadband for less than I was paying just for the phone and line rental from BT! The switchover was seamless - there was absoloutely no downtime or interruption to the phone service whatsover. Tiscali kept me updated by automated emails. The welcome pack with modem etc arrived when they said it would and it contained very clear instructions on setting up. Within minutes I was on-line. Very pleased with that. To date I have never had cause to ring or contact Tiscali about the service as it has been working without any problems whatsover. I would definitely recommend Tiscali to anyone, especially anyone who is considering switching from BT and getting broadband for the first time.

I must give thumbs up to tiscali broadband for a job well done. I was having problems with my internet connection and they solved my problem and kept me up to date. They called when they said they would call and really helped me out with my problem. well done Tiscali and keep it up.

Poor service
We have been with Tiscali for a year now but the connection is terrible. Despite my sending constant emails (generally from my place of work) we still cannot get any satisfaction from them with regard to our constant loss of connection. We pay for the highest level of connection but the speed we get is so low that we are constantly being knocked off. I doubt if we will continue with them at the end of the year. Not the best company at all. When you phone you just get someone with an accent that just cannot be understood.
