Do you like to offer shopping advice?
According to new research published by Big Research, shoppers that search online are more likely to talk with their friends about that purchase and offer advice to their friends on that and similar purchases.
The survey found that 47.0% of those who regularly search online say they frequently offer others advice about products and services they have purchased, versus 29.4% of all adults.
“Consumers who research products online appear to be more knowledgeable and eager to share information,” says Gary Drenik, president of Bigresearch.
Interestingly the research also found that those willing to share their views with others tend to be wealthier and more educated than the norm. This seems to be backed up by the popularity of the new MutualPoints reviews section.
We’ve had over 300 reviews thus far in the short time the reviews have been live on the site and you’ve shared some excellent advice with your fellow MutualPoints members.
Do you agree with the research? Do you share opinions of purchases with your friends?
