B&Q to roll out Reserve & Collect nationwide
Some good news for all you DIY enthusiasts out there. The DIY chain is to offer customers an online service to check stock levels and reserve items at all its stores.
The service allows consumers to check online to see if an item is in stock at a local store and then reserve it for collection up to two days later.
There’s a full article on the roll-out in media magazine NewMediaAge whereby B&Q bigwig Jonathan Brown said “Customers like to use online to plan their DIY projects. They don’t always want to walk around the store shopping, only to get home and realise they’ve forgotten something small but vital.”
So, there you have it, you can now do your planning/shopping at B&Q’s website (via MutualPoints of course!) and pick up your wares at your local shop.
